Maintenance Manager

In this role, you will partner with site leadership to ensure equipment is safe, functional, and promptly repaired to support on-time delivery. You’ll maintain facility operations and mentor the maintenance team, promoting technical growth and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring safety and clear performance expectations.

• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.

• Maintain stockroom inventory; manage parts procurement and optimize department spend.

• Ensure equipment reliability and safety with minimal production disruption.

• Develop predictive maintenance strategies and optimize spare parts use.

• Enhance CMMS usage to improve team efficiency and responsiveness.

• Oversee or support facility and engineering projects.

• Manage and mentor maintenance apprentices; build a talent pipeline.

• Develop and execute monthly training plans using subject matter experts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years in maintenance and 3+ years in a supervisory role.

• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

• Skilled in de-escalation, team motivation, and internal customer relations.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with CMMS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with WCM, Lean Six Sigma, or Toyota Production System is a plus.

• Experience in rubber, extrusion, mixing, or molding is a plus.
