    Job Description:

    • Administer corporate policies in line with Federal, State, and local laws (EEO, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
    • Update the employee handbook and HR policies to support business growth.
    • Manage and maintain personnel documentation, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Ensure accuracy of Time and Attendance system data, reports, and timecards.
    • Support staffing, succession planning, and HR processes across multiple sites.
    • Assist with processing work comp and property damage claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and applicants.
    • Record and maintain employee data such as addresses, wages, absences, and performance.
    • Enforce attendance policies and manage employee files for inquiries and personnel actions.
    • Prepare reports and documents as requested.
    • Conduct onboarding training and assist with employee development research.
    • Process and evaluate job applications for qualifications and eligibility.
    • Implement best practices in recruiting to reduce turnover for all staff levels.
    • Foster positive employee relations for a safe and productive work environment.
    • Advertise job vacancies and notify eligible workers.
    • Review and enter supplier invoices.
    • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

    Qualifications: 

    • Associate’s degree in human resources or related field preferred; 5+ years of HR experience can substitute for a degree.
    • 2-5 years of HR administration experience.
    • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
    • Proven ability to consult with supervisors and managers on employee performance, development, and succession planning.
    • Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; must be hands-on and proactive. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Collaborative, energetic, and flexible, with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective in conflict resolution and building trust to achieve goals.
    • Maintains confidentiality and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
