Job Description:
-Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled merchandisers under guidance from a Master or Lead Service Technician.
– Conduct preventative maintenance, assist in compressor changes, perform leak detection, and wash coils.
– Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, including fixing leaks, soldering, diagnosing airflow issues, installing drain pipes, using temperature meters, and handling blower coils.
– Complete work tickets, time sheets, and electronic communication accurately and promptly using handheld computers.
– Manage truck inventory meticulously and adhere to vehicle maintenance guidelines if applicable.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting service objectives.
– Additional duties as assigned; equipment specialization may vary by branch.
Qualifications:
– Minimum 7 years of experience in the field or 5 years with Technical School Certification.
– Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
– Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting objects up to fifty pounds.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
– Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration; supermarket experience preferred.
– EPA Certification, specifically EPA 608 Universal Certification.
– Strong decision-making skills and proficiency in paperwork management.
