Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer supports the Quality Manager in collaborating with operations and customer service to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
Design, implement, and maintain methods for process control, quality testing, and inspection.
Develop and train on standard operating procedures for quality control.
Monitor production for consistency with engineering specifications.
Support operations and customer service in meeting customer requirements.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints; provide timely and accurate responses.
Interface with vendors to address issues with supplied materials.
Validate root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
Introduce and audit quality processes; track and analyze quality data and trends.
Review inspection data and prepare quality/performance reports.
Participate in testing and development of acceptance criteria and sampling plans.
Conduct vendor audits and implement incoming material inspection plans.
Contribute to regulatory reporting and compliance efforts.
Apply statistical methods to improve manufacturing quality and performance.
Prepare reports with data analysis and improvement recommendations.
Maintain technical knowledge through continued education and certification (ASQ CQE).
Support team efforts and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related technical field; 3–5+ years of quality assurance experience.
Experience conducting audits.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Proactive, motivated, and team-oriented.
Solid problem-solving and project management abilities.
SAP experience preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed.
