Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care following healthcare organization’s policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Document patient’s condition and evaluate effectiveness of care and interventions.
- Coordinate all disciplines to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocol.
- Execute physician and nursing orders.
- Document patient and family understanding of teaching.
- Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required.
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
Experience:
- 3 years of RN experience required for international.
- Experience in Geriatrics is a plus.
